In my time of being an aerospace engineering student in Munich, Germany, I have quickly been asked to join a student team developing hydrogen powered prototype vehicles. The team, „Hydro2Motion“ would then compete against other universities from all over the globe for the maximum range per m³ of hydrogen.

Whilst beeing the group leader of metrology, I was also the main photographer and representative to lead all media inquiries.

H2M

The team is participating in a lot of efficiency contests. The most important one is the Shell Eco-marathon in London. Besides competitions, every once in a while sponsors ask the team to be a part of special events. „Smart Green Island Gran Canaria“ was one of them.

Sponsor ITQ GmbH from Munich hosts an international Makeathon in GranCanaria every year. For 2019 the sponsor invited two solar teams from Eindhoven and Aachen and the Hydro2Motion Team from Munich to present the ideas of a green future mobility on the sunny island.
